Mountain Max v.s. Mountain Lite

Are the Mountain Max and the Mountain Lite the same chassis? I thought they were the same except the Mountain Lite had an aluminum bulkhead and the Mountain Max had steel.

Can someone please explain the differences in these two chassis please? Example, skid, suspension, trailing arms, etc.

As far as I know, Mountain Max is a 600 or 700, came in 136 and 141. The Mountain Lite is a 136 with a phaser motor 500 FAN.... Almost sure all bulkheads are aluminum......

Thanks I was just thinking if the mm and the ML were the same chassis but if they both have aluminum bulkheads, nothing would be gained by swapping a mm 700 to a mL.

Far as I know the mountain light was the fan cooled motor. Rest of the sled is pretty much the same.

I think I read on here the only difference in the light version was 1 less cylinder. Redhead triple in regular configuration and a twin in the light configuration.
