Hey guys, I've done lots of searching on this forum and others. Maybe I'm terrible at picking through the info but I cant seem to find what other Yamaha rear skids bolt directly into a 97 SXR 700 chassis with a 121 track.
I'm not looking to jump the sled or anything, just want a bit longer travel to soak up some of the bumps on the trails.
RX1 will bolt in I believe but needs some arms changed?
How about a 98 Vmax XTC rear skid. Local wrecker has one which he says looks to be long travel.
Any help is appreciated!

that's fit right there and all arms and shaft are the sames.

Viper, sxr, xt, xtc, vmax, 97 & up pro action will bolt right in. Those are the longer travel skids.
My 136 will look good

If you want to long travel just get viper shocks and longer limiter straps. Or xtc or xt shocks. Think the viper ones are better though. I put a 05 vector suspension in my sx but it isnt a direct bolt in. So your options are many.

Go find yourself a viper skid. It's a direct bolt in. You just gain some much needed travel.
