Does anyone know what the setting should be for the air mixture screws on a 98 SRX 700? I have a yamaha repair manual that says 1 1/8 turns on all three carbs. On my clutch cover it says 1 1/2 turns.
I would use the 1.5 turns out, my 98 service manual is 1 1/8th, but going to the 1.5 will help avoid the lean idle hang ups when its cold out. There is not a whole bunch of differance going to the 1.5 out.
I'll give that a try. I find now that I have a bog at low rpm and it won't idle very well. Could this be the cause?
ya, this will help, if it seems better but not completely gone, take them out to 1.75, this will take away the bog and help the idle alot. Dont remember having to go past 1.75 unless you start modding the sled up.
