Trying a bearcat clutch on my srx, i'm looking for baseline common springs to run....wondering how it will affect primary weight. Motor is a 780, Jaws 10,000 rpm pipes, full race port motor, mega power heads@185psi and 46 rounds . Also, I know what belt size to run but am wondering what yields best results-Polaris or carlisle/dayco.Primary is an HRP. Thanks

What belt size. I have all the needed parts for this also but have not figured out the belt size yet. Thanks. I like the carlisle xs belts.
The belt is a polaris #080,098 or 115 all the same within an 1/8" depending on cog thickness.I think the 098 is superceded by the 115. Bearcat driven requires 1.5" longer;factory yamaha is 45 1/4 so 46 3/4 or 46 5/8 works. If you like the xs belt 809 is the one I have. What spring are you using?

Start with 57 / 50 helix and yellow spring.
Look for a cat lime green sno pro spring if you run a roller. Or EPI purple. 58 /48, 60 / 52.
XS and polaris top cog both work very good
