I have a Black-pink Black primary spring, I cant find specs for it any ideas its from a 96 v-max 600
color swatches on one coil or spread over three? i think it would be hard to distinguish a black swatch on a black spring.
are you sure its not green, blue, or white or something else before the pink? quite positive yamaha never used black as a code color for springs. only other option would be aftermarket, but then most aftermarkets used a solid color for the spring, no swatches.

It is a stock spring from a 96 v-max 600. They only put one pink stripe in the center, the factory spec says b-p-b. The spring isnt listed on the tech pages spring charts.
interesting. you wouldnt happen to have a part number for it would you?
i dont show that spring on any of my clutch posters, nor any other charts.
wonder if they changed color code? i can account for every color spring listed for the 96 vmaxs as alternate parts, excpet that one.

No part # check the tech section with the stock specs for all sleds, it says b-p-b????? I dunno what this thing is rated, I believe it is a bit softer than a w-p-w, but the free length is longer.
Go to the tech pages on the main page
Every short cover spring and long cover spring is listed there.
That would be a short cover by the way.

Its listed in the tech pages its a Blue-pink-blue 30-97 I believe there also is the part# in there.
stock spring for your sled would be blue/pink/blue(b/p/b). this according to the 96 yamaha clutch poster, used in most 600's in 96.
run a cross check on the part number 90501-525J8-00 and see if you find it listed as standard issue for your 96 600.
i have the specs on it if needed.
