I just posted a pic of my srx on facebook. Someone made a comment theres only one problem. Its not a skidoo! Hahahaha. Yea I don t like to walk.

Only other brand id ride would be honda, if they made a sled. That comment was from a can-am outlander owner. My brother had one also, 1st one was a buyback. Alot of parts were made in Vietnam. Not Canadian anymore? I get confused with the bombardier, can-am, brp business

I was at a power sports store a few weeks ago and saw a guy trying out a can-am four wheeler when i walked in as i had to get some parts. When i was leaving I heard the guy talking to the sales man and said I'll take a yamaha grizzly instead of this thing. Sounds like the right choice to make if you ask me. :yrules:

them jealous doo boys..can't live with out them ...ask him if he carries pistons and rings on his doo when he rides...

So true... All of my friends with brands other than yamaha and polaris all seem to have motor issues. I told my friend that my MM had over 4k miles and he was surprised that the motor hadn't been freshened up. His doo needed a new top end before he even hit 2k miles.

Looking around on craigslist and such and everything over a couple/few thousand miles on it all have new top ends. I do not understand

A buddy of mine has a 05 skidoo rev that has around four thousand miles on it. Had to put a new top end on it. Then he didnt drive 50 miles and the engine seized up.

How much does that suck.....

I'm kinda bummed to be honest, I love 2 strokes, but Yamaha has phased them out which makes the ski-doo's appealing. But I refuse to ride a sled that the motor needs constant rebuilds and special care. It's 2012, all sled motors should be solid and have a long life. If american car manufacturers can finally make a motor with a long life, snowmobile manufacturers should be able to.

Kinda think the new Yamaha's are ugly also, but good looks don't make em run forever.

I'll be sticking with Yamaha when I upgrade from my MM

all 4 stroke sleds look ugly to me..especially the Doos..couldn't see myself owning a doo as the one I owned back in the late 70's blew a chaincase to pieces and then the motor blew on it..after that I went to Yamaha and never looked back...
