Hey guys, I just got a new to me 1998 SRX 700 and posted up on here because I dont know alot about them. Pete Amato AKA Amatosrx told me to come on over and he would check it over good for me. I brought the sled over to his shop tonight and he gave it a good once over and showed me alot of stuff I didnt know. He is a great guy and great mechanic. If any of you guys in West Michigan need a good mechanic on these sleds that really knows his stuff you should look him up and get ahold of him. His shop is in Byron Center Michigan. Yeah if we actually get one...You saw how the last "big" snowstorm ended up! I tightened the skid up tonight and put a new bolt in the empty spot and greased everything up and changed the plugs out. Also adjusted rear suspension some and its much better! Should be ready to try it out. If you get a chance can you check on how much the inner clutch part is? If I can have just that part replaced is it worth it?

Also if you see a ski or airbox lid for a good deal let me know! I have been looking on here. Is a wanted ad the best way to go? Do I have to have the lid or can I just make the foam surround for the cold air intake right on top of the airbox?
