My buddy lost a cylinder on his Polaris 600. The jug has a little chip out of it. Take a look and let me know your opinions. Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt run it. Where it's chipped is going to get hot and chip some more.

Or send it off to be welded and replated. Big $$$ though. Cheaper to find a used one.

I forgot to add I would NOT run it. Most likely will catch a ring on it and do even more destruction with the new piston.

You can exchange it for a replated cylinder at Millenium as long as the original cylinder as not been ported. I exchanged 3 SRX cylinders with them last year. If it has been proted they will strip the original coating, repair the missing aluminum, replate it and hone it.
