Viper crank question

im looking for a good used Viper crank for a 2004 Viper 700 Mt.

Should i be looking for a crank specificly for a viper 700 motor or are there other models out there that the crank will work in the viper 700 motor?

any year viper crank will work, 2002-04.

any year srx crank 600/700 will also work but youll need to reuse your original end bearings, both the mag and the pto ends if its a 98-99 crankshaft( they just slip right on and off). the oiling holes are differnt on the mag one and the pto one is 2 smaller bearings on 98-99 and 1 large wide on your viper. 2000-02 srx will interchange no problem with no swapping of end bearings
. The srx crank is a full circle crank and the viper is a pork chop style crank thats is lighter but doesnt pack the case as tight as a srx crank but both make the same power so its 6 of 1 and a half dozen of the other.

I added information to original answer,, forgot to tell you must swap both the mag end bearing and the pto bearings if running a 98-99 srx crank. they just slip right on,no big deal.

no go, completely differnt engine, bore and stroke differnt.....
