Looking for some input. I have a 1978 440 exciter and put 485 phazer cylinders and duel carbs. I just got my hands on a 102c and need a good setup. I did a lot cylinder porting and some case porting. The sled runs great but I can't leave well enough alone. Thought about puting on twin srx pipes and cutting the heads. Any thoughts or help with the clutching would be great. Thanks

Not sure about that setup with those cylinders but wiTh exciter cylinders they work great at 3900 engagement with f2 cam arms don't need high engagement because those sleds are pretty torquey below 4500

so i just took my 102c comet off of mine it also had f2 weights mine had a grey spring in it which is way to stiff i went to a ppower bloc clutch and got instant results. the grey spring in it wasnt letting my primary close in at the right rpms

also take a red polaris secondary clutch spring and install it into it yours in the number 3 position this will help with your top end:) i just figured it out today snapped right into top end with plenty of pulling power
