Busted my pull cord AGAIN today. Gotta make up a piece of plastic to go on top of the chaincase I guess.......
But I was wondering how tight to rewind the cord on the recoil? I seem to remember being told to go full tight then back off two turns?
Thanks

Alright that sounds even better. I knew they had one but have been trying to find the PN for about an hour. Thanks!!!

I put in the plastic insert but I didn't really trust it so I got a lengh of rope, I think they called it rope cable, anyway really some tough stuff. All the boys with the 900 cats where using it. Can't hardly cut it with sidecutters but it did the job, not a sign of wear. Some guy on Snow West had it.

On top of chain case there is a tab with a semi circular shape to which the radiator hose bracket is fastened. With bracket removed, insert nylon fitting and reattach rad bracket. (10 mm socket for bracket removal)..
working from a poor memory here..

OK thanks I should be able to get it from there. I was looking for the spot but didn't realize I had to remove that bracket first. Thanks again.
