Modifying a Viper Seat?

Has anybody tried to modify a Viper seat by replacing some or all of the foam with foam from another sled with a softer seat like a Polaris Edge seat? Just wondering if it would be worth picking up a junk seat and modifying The viper seat. I'd probably try to use the stock Viper seat cover and just mod the foam. Thoughts?

I took it to my upholstery guy. He added 4 inches of foam and modified the cover to fit. Best mod every for bad knees and bad back.

I had mine done the seat is not softer but it is lighter then stock.
