i recently purchased a 250 bravo for my daughter but it seems that there is something wrong with the secondary, and belt tension due to the secondary not closing all the way, i have taken a few pictures to explain are the sheves of the secondary supposed to touch? b/c as you can see they don't lol, if they did this would take out some of the slack and also make it ride higher in the secondary correct? i'm asking because it will hardly take my daughter up any sort of incline and she's only 9 lol it does only have 100psi but it should still push her 50lbs around pretty good, any help your be appreciated
Thanks

check your secondary for spring tension it could be broke and it's possible its sticking because of rust and dirt. the sheaves on your clutch could use a cleaning with some steel wool or sandpaper. hope this helps!

THAT BELT HEIGHT IN YOUR FIRST PICTURE IS GOOD. I THINK YOUR SPRING IS BAD. OR DIRTY, RUST HANGING IT UP. ALSO CHECK YOUR PUCKS. sheaves look bad 3:16 (yammie tony)
what about the gap between the sheaves? and the belt slack?

Check the sticker on the belt guard and see what the proper belt is.Maim said:are you shure the belt is the right one? looks too long to me.
I will check tonight but I did get it from the dealer, so I'm going to assume its the proper one, it looks like its about 2" too long to me to, but if you can't trust your parts guy who can you trust lol
