I just want to know what everyone does when using a old track on trailer deck for traction ? Do I cut off all the lugs & just flip-it & use Driver lugs side up?
Its a 2"+ lug track ,so I got some chopping to do then....
Thanks

Both the tracks i had were the old OEM viper tracks so the lug was .97 or less i think. I just flipped them over and had the driver lugs up and it works fine. You might have to trim those lugs down a bit. I would just get out the sawzaw and a nice metal blade and trim away. Doesnt have to be flush but i would take a 1" off or so. I used backer board screws to screw it down. They dont rust and are cheap. Held up great so far. Chris

On the rear ramps, we have two old cut tracks, with driver lugs down against the deck. We also have the polymer tracks for the ski's, very slippery. On the front ramp, I screwed bars of old hyfax, cross ways. This seems to work for us. In the trailer, we have a length of 18" wide rubber the full length of the trailer for each side of the trailer. This is to protect the bed from stud damage. Al
