Can anyone tell me the mileage from houghton to black lake by sled. Is it possible in a day. I know people on Black Lake and I am staying in houghton this weekend. Sorry in advance if this is not the place to post.

Houghton Lake in the lower peninsula?If yes its possible in a day, but the conditions are kinda rough with no base and the clubs are just starting to groom.If you went you'd most likely go to st. helen then north to mio through lewiston, atlanta ,millersburg and onaway would be the last town before getting to black lake.This has to be 100+ miles an would be miserable with current snow conditions, but would be a nice ride with good snow.I have ridden just about all the legs of this trip I've described.
