Srx 440 powerjet carbs

I'm not sure if I'm going to run them with the mods I'm doing to the engine I don't think they will be big enough but I'm just trying to get it to run right until I get all the parts to build my new engine u have answered many of my posts how big will I have to go on jets with the stock 80 motor.sorry I have this question on another post also I'm new to the forum just trying to get some response thanks

HARD TO SUGGEST JETTING WITH OUT ALL INFO THATS DONE TO YOUR MOTOR. I WILL OFFR THIS ADVISE TO YA, DO NOT RUN A POWER JET. NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. WHO EVER TOLD YA TO BLOCK IT WAS RIGHT. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Yes they are nothing but trouble those srxS are very trickey to tune I never have rod it were it was tuned good but it still flys tho just don't run good on bottom the motor I'm running is 100% stock right now but I got all the goods except heads to build the motor 1976 cylinders gears 102 c clutch Gita get aaen pipes 42 mm carbs and need good set of cut heads 1977 or
 
there are alot of jetting specs out there i have a 78 with ported motor 76 pipes and 40mm carbs durign the summer i run 390's i will have the sled out for testing and let you know what i end up with for mains to give a starting point but i know it will be in the 450 for sure range

Hey guys, I just picked up a 78 SRX and noticed the dial on bottom of the float bowl for 'rich or lean' Is that the power jet we are talking about. Never seen that before on any of my other Yammies. Thanks
