Does anyone know if a Nytro XTX suspension will bolt into a 04 Viper?
Would like to make my Viper "S" a 144" sled, however would like to keep it nice
Any other suggestions welcomed

You will need to make modifications. If you are up for this, I can send you more info. I have one that I did. I really like the setup only now the front needs to be improved to match (where do you stop, lol)

How many holes did you have to drill in the tunnel?

The front mount lines up with the steering gate. I chose to mount behind it, but the 144 was too tight. My remedy was to switch to a 146 x 16. This switch required driver change and grinding for clearance. For the rear mount I made my own drop brackets. So there is only 2 holes (1 on each side) for the mount points. However, I drilled a number of holes for rivets to hold the reinforcing plates and drop brackets in place.
If I was going to put a 144 in again I would likely just cut and reinforce the steering gate. This would allow the skid to be mounted exactly like it is in the XTX.
The key consideration I feel is getting the "attitude" of the sled right. Mine is setup up for deep snow, serious off-trail use, so the skid is dropped out as far as was reasonable.
I just searched for pics that I posted a while ago on here, but didn't find them yet. I will see what I can find.
