heated grips?

bought a 97 vmax xtc for the wife this summer.i just took it out for the first time for a test ride.everything seems to be working great except the heated grips?
the thumb warmer works ,but the grips don`t. where or what should i look for?

Look under your bar cover and check for mouse damage to the wires.
