I have them on my 97 sx 700 and im almost certain that their hooked up right but im getting no heat. i tried 1 heater at first and it worked. what could I have done wrong?
How did you hook them up? The blue and white go together to act as one wire lead. What did you do to test them . With the sled running or with a 12v source (battery)?

yes the high and low were hooked together to the positive and the ground was hooked to the high/low on other heater where the ground went to the ground. and I tested it with sled running and I just put wires where old ones used to be. All connections were soldered if you were wondering.
Good to here that the connections are soldered. Not everyone does that. 
Since they run in series they will either both work or not work. If only one works while wired in series then one of the grips is defective.
Does the thumb warmer work? This is also wired in with the grips.

the thumb warmer does work
Wire them in parallel. The single warmer received full power, then the voltage was divided when the second warmer was added.
