I spent a lot of time searching for this topic, but never found directions for doing it. Can someone direct me to a link for this job. We have the secondary off and upper and lower gears w/chain. Thanks

Are you trying to remove the speedo side drive bearing or chaincase side?

Jackshaft, not driveshaft
That is what I get for posting late. I meant the jack shaft bearing behind the secondary.
Sorry

What sled? I know on my vipers if i remember right you just have to undo the bracket that holds the bearing in place and remove the 2 setscrews in the bearing collar. Dont lose, hard to replace. some new ones dont come with the set screws.. Then it should just slide off if not rusted on to bad. Might want to hit it with some PB blaster to help ya out some. Here is a pic of the bearing collar.

I was just coming on here to look up the same thing....good info. Glad we don't have to pull the whole shaft out or get into the chaincase. Bearing part# I found was 93399-99943-00 at YamahaSportsPlaza.com.
