Last year i would get 10mpg with my piped viper. I had it geared at 21/38 and had the fuel screws at 1 7/8 turns. This year I went out for a ride and checked my mpg. I got 12mpg!!!! Crazy. I geared my sled to a 20/38 this year and turned the fuel screws out 2 turns. Anybody even hear of a Bender Piped viper getting 12mpg??? Thats what I got when it was shock.
i think im at like 8 to 9 mpg lol. didnt take me long to burn thru a five tank when i was clutching last weekend. was also jetted a little richer in the extreme cold tho too. my plugs looked a little lean so i richened up a tad. our common weather is aroun 20 to 25 deg tho so prolay see a lil better mpg when i jet back down for those temps.

I get 7 at best with my SLP piped Viper. Was getting 11-12 before putting the pipes on. I would be happy to get 10 much less 12.

depends on throttle and snow conditions and temps..all a factor here.

Mine doesn't even come remotely close to that...I get a very consistent 6 mpg every time I've ever checked.

BE AFRAID, BE VERRRYYY AFRAID!!!!
mine stock with head gasket removed, clutched and running 155 mains with needles dropped got 14
with slp pipes, stock compression and tempaflo, got 11 at best, tried to squeak a little more out of it and squeaked the motor.
with srx pipes and stock compression (cut srx heads) 135 compression and srx box, low of 12, usually 14 and 15 a couple times.
above with viper cdi, never got past 12 and if you were on the gas, and not riding on the pilot and needle circuit, it would go back to 10. No matter the box, the srx pipes would allow me to run 40 pilots.

I am running 165 mains and 50 pilots. Got the bender head mod so im running 125psi in each. I just don't under stand why im getting better gas mileage when i turned the fuel screws out more and geared it down even more?? And this year i am riding it harder then last year on the throttle.

I just think you have a magical viper!! LOL J/K. You can run studs on a 1.25 track no problem and now your getting 12mpg on a bender piped sled!!!! Just kiddin with ya. But thats great. Best i ever saw on my cpr viper was 10mpg going downhill being pushed. Got just over a 100 miles on a tank most days. I though 10 was awesome.

Nope its in mph. Checked the miles with my dads vmax and we were about the same, I had one more mile then he did. So its not in kilometers ottawaair.
