Was riding the other day and hit a slight jump and had the sled land on awkwardly with me hanging on with only my right hand, which ripped the throttle-side grip off, and pulling the wiring for the warmer out as well. For some reason the set screw was not as tight as it should have been, which is why it pulled off. Is it difficult to get the wiring for the handwarmer back into the grip. Got some grip glue to put it back on, but just wasn't sure if the wiring will need to be soldered or how I will get it back into place without too much trouble.

You may want to choose to change the grip out.

I got to thinking about that last night and I think that's probably what I'll end up doing. Do they sell them single or do you have to buy a set?

Buy a set, and you can just change the bad one so you will have a spare.

Just called the dealer and they are $23 apiece. Kinda steep for a grip, but oh well. I tried fixing the one I busted by stripping some wire off and putting the wires back into the grip, but that didn't work. Neither warmer worked, I assume thats because they connect to each other and when one doesn't work, neither will?

not sure what your running, but alot of 97 and newer let the grips hang off the end of the bar creating a weak spot. look for a spacer between both the throttle and brake perches, move or remove to let the new grip go to the end of the bars. dont forget to use a SLOW cure epoxy. i always heat set mine by implementing a battery charger to "heat" the grip up. good luck!

Thanks for the tips. I just went a ordered one at the dealer yesterday, so I have my old one half way wired for handwarmers now. I see what you mean with the spacers in there though. I think mine goes to the end of the bar right now, but I'll be sure to check on that when I get the new one. Thanks for the help guys.
