So I have a 80 SRX that I am working on. The clutch is junk and I finally got the puller to get it off. Now, I was thinking that this sled had a ring gear on the back of the clutch to drive the oil pump. Upon pulling the clutch off I found no gear on it. There is a gear that looks like it is pressed on the crank to drive the pump. Is this the way it's supposed to be or is it something somebody modified? I'll try and post a picture if I can get it off my phone.
Thanks, jeremy

Thats the way it goes. Gear on the crank runs the oil pump.

clutch
If you replace the clutch just make sure you get one that is for the 80. I believe your clutch needs the offset on the back for the gear to keep the belt aligned.

I found this clutch on eBay that says it fits a 440 SRX and it has a gear on the clutch.... The 102 that they list on Dennis Kirk shows a gear on the clutch. The one I took off has no gear on it. Guess I am confused
