Will a skid plate cover it? If so goop some silicone in the hole so it won't ingest snow and put a plate on it. If not I'd still just seal it up and use it.

That piece really isn't that hard to replace, its just drilling out about 20 or so rivets and then installing new rivets. The hood, the bumper, and the two gold colored braces will need to be removed along with the exhaust, I forget if the control rods need to be unbolted but I don't think you need to. Its probably about a hour and a half to two hour job. Or you could just get a skid plate to cover it up.

i cant find a skid plate online! the only one i found was orange and i do not want orange and a new belly pan part is discontinued from yamaha! and i am 14 so i hate to say it but i dont think they would order any thing from people on here:( just to parinod!

When read that at first I was put off a bit like some other were... But now I see where you missed the word parents... Anyway... Just get some black silicone clean it good with a degreaser, and fill the crack with the black silicone for now. But inspect it well during the summer and see if anything is bent down there. It's not hard to replace, I have an extra of that piece I would send it you if you can talk your parents into covering the postage. I don't remember what kinda shape it's in though...

i get it,you would feel caught in the middle, but parts are better, ship faster and better prices then ebay, use paypal and its all good.otherwise throw some foil type duct tape on the inside

guys i really appreciat it, but my parents wont let me! i don't want to piss them off so i am not going to bring it up to them any more. sorry. :( :( ;(

Well.....They say chicks dig scars, Get some bright white zip tyes, stitch her togther. Smear some silicone to make it water resisant and wear it like a badge of honor! You could even tell the girls you were either A out running the cops or B in the process of whoopin up on some ski-donts!

Frankenstein sew job w/ safety wire. Add some aluminum screen door screen between the thread/safety wire. When it's all sewn up, cover w/ epoxy resin. Of course grind everything clean before starting.
