is there a difference in set up with power inc pipes on a mountain max than a 2000 sx-r 700?

Same motor. Jetting will be the same also if at the same elevation, but
your clutching will change because of the longer track/different gearing of the mmax.

what would change for the longer track stiffer spring? more or less weight in the primary? it is set up according to power incs install instructions

Well you may have to just ride it and check your rpm. The power inc set-up sheet may be for the m.max but I am unsure. Power Inc gives a few different clutching set-ups I believe on the set-up page.

If those are endump pipes you need to add weight to the clutch weights till you get it to about 8250 rpm at wide open. These pipes pull real good on the bottom side of the powerband.
