I have a 02 Viper that I rebuilt the top end this year with new wiseco pistons and rings. My question is, i just got back from a weekend in the U.P and we put 250 miles on it. It runs fine but when I get on gthe throttle and it hits about 6500-7000 RPMs the orange warning light and check engine light flash about 5 times and then go out. not sure the exact number of flashes...Any idea's??????
u will need to count the flash .....

Do you have a stand? I used a 8ft step ladder and a ratchet strap once. If you can hit that rpm on stand it should trigger that light sequence. Then you could have it fixed if and when you get snow
Does it have DCS? What octane fuel are you running? Could be sh*tty quality fuel...
Whats your rpm,,,,,,, when maxed out.....

I will try to get it up on a stand and run it. Using 91-92 octane. I have not maxed it out yet. A bit nervous still. Just did a rebuild on it this fall,so i'm still breaking it in
