1/2" inch from top. 200 miles on belt, properly broken in. All 4 sheaves on primary and secondary cool to the touch.
Should I be concerned?

Define marks? Are they on both sheeves or just inner and outer?

No. Sanded down with 400 grit as well.

They were checked and to spec.

I had that issue last year..marks on 1 sheave..means belt is slipping.If I remember correctly my center to center was off..had to loosen motor mounts and move motor but the torque limiter couldn't be moved enough to put pressure against the motor.So had to make holes a little bigger in order to keep the motor forward and c to c was then correct.Holding good now.
