any help on how to change this, already have the motor out

Have fun.I have done this on my 97 SX700.Its part of the inegrity of the machine.Not meant to be changed.Be sure that you take caution removing the damaged one.Put the replacement one in as if it were holding an airplane together as it holds your steering too.Place your screws or rivets as close together as you can get them.

I did this too on my 98 last fall. I found that after all the rivets were out, I had to spread the tunnel slightly with a hydraulic bottle jack, in order to get to old one out and the new one in. be careful, it only has to spread a little bit. Like hdboug said, just remember, this is part of the integrity of the chassis, make sure you use good quality rivets when putting it back together. I got my rivets (Stavex brand) from Ding, but a few other members also sell them (Betheviper & Crewchief are 2 others I can think of), they are slightly better than OEM and way cheaper.
