I am considering using these skis on my 94 VMAX ST 600. There are so many manufacturers of this type of ski I do not know which to buy. What other skis like this has people used and what are there pluses and minuses.
The SLP SLT skis are an excellent all around ski. I highly recommend them. I have ran them on a SRX for the lst 3 years.

Be aware that the metal cutting edge at the front can catch on rocks/train tracks, etc. Ask Ding about that I watched him follow in my tracks over a lump in the snow, which turned out to be a boulder. His tunnel bent as a result of the ski grabbing an edge. I think the rest of the design seems great though. I do prefer C&A's though

Maybe one of the best all around skis for all conditions. If you go off trail much I don't recommend running the keel blade option (the metal piece John referred to). You can simply run longer carbides instead. Basically you either run short carbides with the keel blade, or longer carbides wihtout the keel blades. If you run primarily on trail the keel blades are excellent as they virually eliminate any darting in any condition.
