What is the deal with the prices for Yamalube? My local dealer charges 36.99/gal.. I was under the impression that msrp was 29.50....Is this an example of a dealer just price gouging or are you guys seeing the same thing?
Anyone finding a good deal on gallons anywhere?
I was able to get a decent price from Peacock Ltd. in Baldwin, MI for 26.38/gal if I buy 4. 30.99 each regularly...once again above msrp....
I know in Canada it's probably above 50 a gallon/multi-liter pack for you guys, so I am not trying to compare our pricing to yours...just attempting to understand the over msrp pricing that I don't remember seeing in the past.

I can't remember the exact price, but I paid right around $30 for a gallon at Watson's in Curtis, MI a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the responses guys. I just bought a gallon at Fox Yamaha in Grand Rapids for 27 bones! Best deal I could find w/o buying a case...not bad

Thanks for the thread Allseasonrider; I'm in Grand Rapids and running low on oil. Looks like Fox Yamaha for me (the Shawmit Hills Yamaha, correct?)

My local dealer is around $30.00 for a new jug, or you can bring an empty in and get it filled for $28.00.

He may mean Fox Yamaha/Fox Powersports on 29th street. I'd call both of them and compare. Also compare with bringing your own container as Shafner noted.
It seems like the best time to buy is at the snow shows early in the season, unless a dealer has their own sale to clear out inventory or something (I've never seen this but I don't watch closely either). In this area in the fall, we have at least Nelsons Snomotion, US131 MSA show, Hastings drags, and a bit further away is Novi as well. Nelsons is at all/most of the shows and they usually have very good pricing if not the best. I don't remember the price but my bud took the last case or 2 of 2s late at US131 (quarts or gallons, can't recall), and it was less expensive than all the others, we checked.

Yea, it is actually the one on 29th street. Not sure if the Shawmut location is the same price or not. When I went to Fox the counter guy originally could not find the price as it came up at over 100 bucks when he punched it in the computer. I told him that must be for a case so he did some more checking and I ended up spending 27, 26.99 to be exact.
Saved so much I thought I better buy a new pair of Coldwave gloves (@20% off) for my U.P. trip in a couple weeks....that is if they have snow near Brimley and the Soo!
SRX500kid, 25 per gallon is dirt cheap! Buy it up!!

Last year during hunting season we stopped in at a gas station in the middle of nowwhere to register a deer. I just happen to see three gallons sitting on the shelf with a price of 14.99. My buddies thought I lost it when they walked up to the counter with 12packs of beer and I had three gallon jugs of Yamalube2S

$14.99, Baron that must have been 'old stock' from back in the day! Way good price!

I bought a case of gallons at Novi for 79.99 this year and thought that was hard to beat! Plus I'm all set for a whole lot of riding now. I've only used a little over a gallon of it with this crappy winter we've been having.

Devilin..that's suuuuper cheap for this iridiums...also good to know that Advanced has Yamalube.
Swede..that sounds like the best hookup I've heard yet on 2S...I better get to Novi next year with my buddy and split a case to save some $$$!
I don't ride the V4 enough to need 4 gallons of 2S...that would equate to around 3800 miles....my sled doesn't even have that many miles on it yet and it's 16 years old!

yep it was good, if you look at Novi shop around as some vendors were much more expensive.
