i have a stock 02 viper and was wondering what the best jetting setup would be? I can only get about 10mpg and i was thinking i could get better than that. I had one before and i thought that i got better mpg with that one let me know what you guys think.

You won't get any better mileage than that, with a viper. If you lean it out anymore in the hopes to get better mileage, it will burn down faster than you can blink an eye. If you want mileage, you should buy a four stroke, or just haul the sled around on your trailer.

There are alot of factors to consider when chasing fuel mileage. Age of sled, mileage on odometer, upkeep and maintainence of carbs, clutches, bearings ,skid, track and so on. We would need a little more info of your setup of the Viper to try to help you figure out the best way to get better mileage.
BTW 10mpg is not bad but yes it could be a bit better

If that is 10 imperial mpg I think that is pretty good for a viper.
ok thanks guys i was just wondering im not having any problems it runs great. I do have an 1 1/4 track so im sure that will take away a bit from stock track and this is moderate riding not just a slow cruise. I guess i was just checking to see if there was something better than what it came stock or if that was the best setup. And no mileage is not just what i want it all about having fun and haveing the sled you have setup to the best it can be because not everyone has the money to go buy the latest and greatest on the market!!!!! Thanks again
Ya we where up north this weekend in Hazelhurst and rode to eagleriver and back we stoped and filled up i had 84 miles on with 1/4 tank left put in 7.7xx gal so thats 10.8xx mpg

I got 120 miles per tank on my Viper when it was a 121 1" track and 110 miles with 136 1" track. Your sled may do better if you gear down one tooth on the top gear with that 1 1/4 track. I hear it helps to keep the motor in the "sweet spot" of the power band.
