just got done riding yesterday and found my suspension arm connecting my rear shock busted. any ideas what caused this or how it happend? i'm going to try to weld up a new one at the shop tomorrow. i just had the shocks rebuilt last week too
Also the other side was bent as you can see in the pics.
Just don't want to fix it and have it happen again....

I have broken many parts on the suspension of my XT (both swing arms,slide rails,rear spring and the frt sway bar and 1 ski) but I have never seen these broken!
Looks to me that you have the support shaft that hold the front of the shock in place upside down. Meaning these rods attach under the center line of the front eye of the shock, not above it
