Well I wanna get my girl friends sx off the ground a little. I have a set of blastER front shocks they are a little longer than the stock sx about a inch with about half inch more travel. Anyone ever do anything like this? Will the shocks handle the weight?
Also if I do this I planned on making some drop brackets for the rear to raise it possibly a inch or two. Anyone ever do this?
I am just playing with ideas here trying to find things to tinker with.
Let me know your thoughts.

Those shocks will be a lot stiffer than the sx shocks. Plus they are terrible shocks and probably won't ride too well. Banshee shocks would be a little better but you won't know for sure until you try.
I have the same sled and did the Viper shock swap front and rear. If you do this, you need to get Venture front radius rods and tie rods to widen the sled to take advantage of the travel Viper shocks have vs. the SX shocks. You can get a kit on here the also drops the upper connection of the front shocks down about 2" to raise the front end. I did the swap and love it. You should be able to find posts telling you what needs to be done but if not, PM me.

I am not sure I know that there is a trail over there but I have never been on it before
