Does anyone have a separate thumb warmer on a '98 SRX? Wondering how it was accomplished. I have a newer instrument panel with dual controls but not really sure how to wire. Do you have to run another voltage regulator or just wire the other resistor in series the with thumb warmer. If I wire in series I would think that the second resistor if set to "0" would run like having a single control, then if the resistance is increased would allow the thumb warmer to get cooler than the grips.
Well really just looking for input from anyone that has attempted.
Thanks,
Dale

Thanks SXR1000 for the reply....that is probably what I will end up doing is wiring another variable resistor in series with the thumb warmer.
Still wondering if any one has made a separate circuit by using another voltage regulator....not sure but would think there would have to be another power feed from the switch. Thoughts any one????
