Any decent write ups on how to swap the Xtra-10 skid into an older Vmax?

Have the chance to pickup an xtra-10 skid locally fairly cheap and since most of my bogey wheels are toast and a i have a lightly used track laying around i'd like to go ahead and move the skid in this sled into the late '90's as far as technology and at least increase the ride comfort. I tried to search for a decent thread or write up and found nothing. If you could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

You guys are the best! Now, anyone know where to find an extended brake cable so I can run 5" bar risers?

I wish it were hydraulic, need a 5" longer cable(mechanical).
