Ok I'm still working on the Apex skid I bought to put in my SRX but still have to get the idler wheels mounted and I'm using the mounts from my proaction skid to do it.It was no problem getting the single mounts bolted to the rails, used 2 for the rear points of the skid, where the 2 on the single axle is on the proaction, and 2 outside ones by the front arm mount. Now I'm out of single idler mounts and still have to put a set on the front of the skid so what I thought I might do is take the 2 on the single axle and mount them there but I'm not sure how much the front arm will compress under full stroke. If I use this setup with the 2 wheels on the one axle at the front mount point would there be a danger of the front arm collapsing far enough to make contact with the wheels or axle?
I hope I have explained this enough to be understood.
