yamaha venture questions

is the engine the same as the phaser, ,also where do you find a windshield for the sled, when i bought the sled i thought it was a phazer but after we cleaned the snow out of the sled it says venture and has revurse lever, just trying to learn about the sled i bought for my son, thanks

older venture's have the same engine as the phazer .they basically looked like a phazer, but had two up seats electric start and reverse.all parts except the hood and panels fit i believe. I owned a 1991 venture first year of production.they were a very reliable machine.throw on a nice set of plastic skis and your set. Good luck finding a windshield. they are expensive and hard to find used.
