clutch buttons

hello all a simple little ? i have a 99 sx 700 and iam wondering about the secondary clutch hanging up i noticed the buttons are numbered do the numbers have to match the holes or what i dunnno.....

You add the 2 numbers that you put your secondary spring into and multiply by 10 to get the degrees of twist in your secondary....if that made any sense at all.

yess i no that but the buttons are actually numbered 1,2,3 on the ends of them .....

put them in the same holes as the 1,2,3 on the secondary

Is there a reason for doing this?
