Sled: 00 SRX no engine modification.

Testing a new clutch load out this weekend in Hurley, WI. Trails have managed to open by me for less then two days this season... Meh! Anyway, anyone have any experience with this setup. I'm looking for top end and acceleration. I can live with so so back shifting.

8bu-10 4.5 x2
WWW Primary
50 / 44 Pioneer Helix
Green Sec @ 70

Ride:
Unknown will report Sunday

Coming from an old hauk setup Probably willing to part with this kit (Should of been his 98 SRX clutch kit)
89a weights (not sure of the load)
Primary (paint has worn from spring)
G-Stamp Helix
Green Sec @ 90
Ride:

Good acceleration but lacking top end
Lickity split back shifting
Clutches always just warm to the touch (Efficient?)
Some belt slip marks at top of primary after high speed runs.

i just tried out my 8-bu 10 setup. still not dialed in though.
8bu-10 loaded with 4.5 in both= 55gr.
Maxx red primary spring 52.5/130 w/ skinny shim
4000 rpm engagement
Maxx 52-40 helix
Yammy green secondary@ 90
Engine loads to about 8100 then 8350-8400 rpm top
104mph gps in approx. 1000ft.
ice with patches of loose snow pretty cold temp.
I am going to go and try 100 wrap and hopefully i will pull 8500rpm and maybe a few more mph......trail riding/backshifting is very good but i would like more top end.

I have a 99 600 mmax do u guys no what spring I should run in the primary to get my engagement to 4200 ,any info would be greatly appreciated

my set up will be the following.Soon as I can get on the River..I can test it.But late last season tried it once along the ditch and she really pulled to 100 instantly..so can't wait to hit the river.

8Bu-10's
.85 inner
5.7 outer
w-w-w-
vmax4-800 2ndary Spring
wrapped 0 and 6= 60
51/43 helix

the rpm's were right on at that time..and she pulled hard..

from what I remember from last season the one time..rpm's were spot on and the pull was crazy..just need more snow to get to the River yet...may not even test it this season the way it is going.. probably will use 600 in this marginal snow..but don't even feel like riding now at all...

a green spring at 100?? you aren't working your clutches efficiantly! For top speed runs you should have a green at about 60 and tune the primary from that. You need a heavier primary spring.
