Hey Guys, I picked up an old 88 Phazer for a parts sleds and when I pulled the rear skid out low and behold there was a set of Fox Shocks installed. Just wondering if Yamaha had these as an option or if somebody down the road installed them. I rebuilt my skid for my 86 Phazer, installed the Fox, and must say the ride quality is a huge improvement.

Not a factory option to my knowledge. I had a set in my old 84. Night and day difference compared to the stockers.

what are the measurements on those?carefull with that rear one in a 89,90,its longer and as i found out you need to make some adj, to keep the bottom shock mount from flippin down and smasing the shock body into the middle idler wheels, its actually the same length as a 88 sus,i have the setup directions for em if you want, also they do work much better,

I'm a total newbie on the Phazer-I/II sleds..
I have found a pair of Ohlins shocks from an 1989 Phazer-I skid and was wondering if they will fit on a 1991 Phazer-II skid ?
