had to take my 600 out for a ride since the weather is warming up now.Man is it ever bad just to get to the River. My dual runner carbides are just scraping the ground.Get to the River and had to go thru some small rocks, downed trees and dirt.Once on the River I started to ride finally, but with a lot of icy spots it was dangerous.I think I almost lost control 2 times as back end nearly went around on me..not to nice riding like that.At least I put on 36 miles and the sled is running good even if it it 2 C above.Got her up to about 135 km's/hr and that all she would go today..way to warm and sugary conditions. There is nothing to climb or bust for snow..NOTHING!!!
Unbelievable winter is all I can say.Hate it when all I hear is my carbides just tearing thru stuff steadily,,don't know if my ski's floated that much in all them miles..crazy!!

Glad you got to ride Blue. I am pretty disappointed today. I have one weekend a year that I really look forward to where some buddies come up and we ride and usually attend a local snow festival and do the poker run, chili cook off and just basically ride as much as we can. Well since there is no snow we decided to cancel our trip until the weather cooperates. So in addition to not having my snowmobile weekend I am going to go back to work tomorrow when I thought I was taking the next 2 days off. This winter sucks!

Still need more snow I dunno Doug im just not feeling it this year I know its the lack of snow, but when you got buddies going out of town to ride and bragging about it its just pissing me off. Ready to get out of the sport and buy another couple bikes!!! Looks like we could ride all year then....

that;s to bad there 70001.Really was not great here, actually terrible conditions really. If it were not for the River being about 2 miles away..I wouldn't be riding at all in this crap..at least I can get to the River and ride all day if I want to,damn temps are really to mild for my liking also...so nothing is going right it seems.

whats stopping you from picking up your sled and going with your bud's.Can't ride a dirtbike when we get 2 to 3 feet of snow,Just an unusual winter. My mom told me it was like this in1980..so I guess once in 22 years ain't so bad..next year we will get nailed with snow then.Try and get out next weekend..River is great for riding and temps will be ok to,besides we may get a big March/April satorm and you will be itching to ride in that stuff..Bluemonster2 said:Still need more snow I dunno Doug im just not feeling it this year I know its the lack of snow, but when you got buddies going out of town to ride and bragging about it its just pissing me off. Well I got out yesterday with the girlfriend.. Put on about 125khms. It sucked.. Like you Doug all I could think about were the carbides scrapping and grinding..lol.. We did hit some ditches with good snow though but not the kind of riding I like. Melanie loved the Venture. Said it was easy to handle and very comfortable to ride, she just wanted to keep going but I had to stop. To worried about breaken the sleds apart on the mud. Guess I will load them up on the trailer and head north next weekend. Gotta go where the snow is to ride.
