CARLISLE ULTIMAX - GOOD SPARE TO GET HOME
DAYCO HP - GOOD SPARE TO DRIVE SLED UP TRAILER
YAMAHA 8DN- AWESOME BELT 3:16 (yammie tony)

Ultimax cost me big money when it blew under 100 miles on it.And I broke it in for 50 of them.Footwell dented in,speedo cable ripped right out..almost pulled the speedometer out of the dash and the belt was in pieces.All this to try and save a few bucks..not any more.Learned a lesson here.I get my Yamaha belts for $47 a piece from the US..in Canada well over the $100 mark..again go figure why Yamaha is ripping us off here... :o|

8DN is best.

Remember, you can add washers to the adjustment bolts on your secondary to change the belt deflection if it's not too worn. This will raise the belt in the secondary. The sled will launch better.

All great valid replies, 8DN it is, will try US yammy dealer today since I'm 10 mins from us border,no since even checking yamaha on this side...

Just checked both dealers on each side of border.
Canada= $99.95---8DN
Maine= $66.95---8DN
US is 20min to dealer
Canada is 70mins to dealer should be no Brainer...

Also, make sure the three bolts on back of secondary are not worn down.
