Not sure if this is actually a tech question or not. But can anyone tell me how to adjust the amount of play in the throttle lever?
I dont know if im correct..but im putting in my 2 cents!
I like to have 1/8" of play in my lever. I am sure there is some excact tension, but thats what I run in my sleds and bikes, even my street bikes has twist of about 1/4".
Good luck Brent

Follow the throttle cable down to where it screws into the carb rack, you will see the lock nut and barrel adjuster, loosen the lock nut and twist the barrel ajduster to tighten or loosen the cable freeplay.
You may want to check the tech section for the correct manual but if I recall the spec is approximatly 2mm gap/freeplay on the throttle lever to throtle housing itself.
Once you have that set you may want to check and reset your oil pump freeplay as well as they are both driven by the throttle.
Hope this helps
