im having a hard time finding a secondary clutch for a friend.. i know many models will fit his 02 viper with some changes but im wondering if anyone can tell me what models will work and which wont
I'm pretty sure any trailing arm sled (V Max,Venture,SRX,Viper,SX,SX-R) all take the same secondary with different springs and cams for their intended use.Some of the trail performance sleds like the SX,SRX and SX-R have windage plates bolted to the sheaves.I'm not as familiar with pre '97 model sleds so I can't comment on the secondary used on these ones but they may fit too.

is that all the models that will work?? pretty much all yamaha trailing arm sleds?? so an older bravo wont work?

Bravo secondary will not work. 94 up will work. 500, 600, 700 all use the same secondary. You are in Maine? Contact betheviper. he has what you need.

thanks for the info.. i will try betheviper
The 94 did not have a reverse cam and the 95-96 did but used a diffrerant spline so they wont fit,has to be 97 and up.
