Has anyone used an MP3 player or something else to listen too while riding?
Can you have the player at an acceptable level to hear over the machine w/o blowing the ear drums

My Zen Touch directions state " should not be subjected to continuous shocks as from running. It will see a lot more shock than that. I will let you know if I have problems, if we get snow!!

LMAO Marley would be my last choice. Way laid back! I'd be crusin at about 25 pissing off everyone behind me and really not caring.
I've tried listening to music but the only tune I really like is the whine of the 2 stroke!

I like to listen to metal on my mp3 player when i ride. (eg. pantera, bfs, etc.)
It really works good, you can hear the music really well except when the sled is under hard acceleration. It really makes a big difference in the riding experience IMO.

I used to have a mini disc player, now I have a mini ipod, I just get the ear buds that hook around the ear so they stay on in the helmet. It works great!

used a mp3 through my chatterbox, sold the chatterbox, and now wiring in some headphones to my helmet. i love it. it doesn't seem like it takes all that much volume where it hurts your ears, but i'm also riding a fourstroke with the exhaust out the back. Like someone said it takes the ride to a whole new level. I sometime find myself riding a little too nutty when pantera, corn, creed or zombi comes on. a little floyd or zeplin works out nice for off trailin. kinda gets you in the zone

I was thinking about grabbing my MP3 player today.
Would add to the aggresive mood for sure! ill give it a try for my next ride.

I love having music on the ride, but agree with other posts, you have to watch what king of music you bring along. My riding partner said he could tell when a rockin tune was playing, the pace would go up every time. He also complained that there was no more banter back and forth over the communicator anymore because I was too busy listening to the tunes!

The OFFSPRING's Gone Away is worth about 20 MPH in the truck so I can only guess what would happen on the Powder Thrasher of DOOM!

Well, using the original iPod headphones was more hassle then it is worth IMO LOL
I found these helmet speakers today:

Anyone recommend any other brands, setups?

I use an mp3 player through my Collette Communicator. It works great! Cuts of when you are talking or someone else talks.
