Srx 440 itake ports

Got 1980 Srx motor putting 1976 cylinders on.the 80 cylinders have the injection intake flanges should I use these on the 76 cylinders I know the ports are larger but would I benifit from using these as they would be used as a spacer or should I mount the boots right to the cylinders and scrap the spacer.I'm not using the oil injection.

Ok that answers that thanks alot getting ready to put it all together still waiting on a set of heads.
