Hi guys, I just purchased a 2000 SRX with a Bender Big Bore 835 kit. Sled is absolutely mint. I have always wanted a SRX and this is the one. My current fleet consists of a 2006 Apex GT with MPI Super Charger and 144 Extention. Had a 2002 Viper, nice but not enough HP And suspension was way too stiff. I just got very lucky and found this SRX from a good buddy of mine. My only beef is the lack of suspension. I Like the Apex but can't ride without race fuel. Can't go too far. Also a heavy pig. I am looking at an Expert X rear suspension for the SRX. Looking for feed back. Or if anyone has any other suggestions it would be appreciated. What other mods to front suspension do I have to make to make it work? This SRX is close to the Apex on the Lake. SRX is set up perfectly. :2strokes:

10-4 on BETHEVIPER. Scott is an awesome guy.

My 2Cents on the suspension.

Without spending a ton of money here is a good solution:

1. Make the stock SRX long travel with Viper spec shocks and limiter strap

2. If available get a front widening kit from Pioneer Performance and the Viper shock mounts from BETHEVIPER to run the longer Viper spec shock up front and repalce the trailing arms with Viper units ( stronger spindles)

3. Run Apex front skis

All of this will not cost a ton of $$$$ since Viper shocks are cheap. If you are looking beyond this then a replacement suspension such as Expert or M-10 will be great.

I did 1 , 2 , and 3 above and used all Ohlins shocks along with a small bar riser and now the SRX is where it should have been out of the box.
