what does the sr stand for I am assuming its the same meaning for the early sr's, the srx, srv, and late model srx's
also on a srv there are 2 square removable plates on the front of the belly pan any clue why??

Those are removed for more airflow which equals better cooling.Just keep them closed in deep snow
