Yamaha FX Nytro XTX 1.75


Did you really think it was going to be "all new" and mind-blowing new sled??? Gezzz - Doo & Polaris have had deeper lug options on thier cross-overs for the last couple years....better late than never maybe??? Hoo-Hum. When will the motorcycle guys ( high performance street / motocross ) take over the snowmobile division and release the stuff we al lknow they are capable of??? Instead of the golf cart/cruiser bike/moped people they must have in there now...... :o|

Man i can still remember the day late in the 97' sled season (as we were still selling the rest of our current SX's )when yamaha sent us the packets of the "all-new" 1998 SRX's - now that was frikkin awesome!!!! :2strokes:

I was thinking the apex was about due for a revamp. I was actually hoping the kids sled would be released now lol. I have a 3 year old and one on the way. this apeals to me
 
yea..i know what you mean....i have a 10 year old now, sold his XC120 last year and almost given up on a enticer 250 (carb) and just brought it's twin bigger brother, Enticer 340 to see if i can bring it back to life.....
You know..for the $$$ they get for the new apex, it really should be boosted instead of naturally aspirated....you spend that kind of jing - i want to show everone my taillights -right???
 
You know...its funny you say that....I have always wanted to shoe-horn my dad's "redhead" 700 motor into my 04'440 REV chassis......the sound of the tripple was awesome!!! good trail power!!
what's in store for the rest of the 13' lineup i wonder? BNG i suppose....besides the ski's and the separate heater controls -didn't arctic cat do that on thiers and everyone complained about how they were supposed to switch the ones on the rh (throttle) controls while riding???
 
Wow i guess i got hyped up when on another forum there were rumors of a 2-stroke nytro possible. ho-hum indeed.
 
I can't believe they didn't give it power steering. :rofl: Hopefully next year a remote start with key fob. :rofl: Or better yet how about a small oven under the seat for Hot Pockets! :rofl:

actually they make muff pots that ive seen mounted under the seat...
 
Seriously?THAT'S what the hype was all about?One sled with a different track,skis and a couple other tid bits.Geez I hope there's something in the rest of the lineup to make up for this.
 
kinda funny also they are coming out with a 1.75 track..but there is no snow around anymore to run these sleds.If winters keep up like this season,why wouild you buy a sled like that anyways... :o|
 
they saved 5 lbs weight with shock change and state better handling and performance over the 2012 sleds...WHAT!! that alone will make me wanna go buy one...are they nuts....lol
