how do you tell the difference? hyvo or non hyvo?

Just wondering I have a chain laying around that I don't know what it is from how do you tell the difference between a non hyvo and a hyvo? ANyone have an answer also would like to know the answer for the same question but with gear.

PIcs of the two would be great as would a explaination

The hyvo has a rounded top on the link,the non hyvo or link belt has a divet between the two pins.
